Alejandra Sanchez-Sarmiento
Alejandra Sanchez-Sarmiento is a clinical psychology PsyD student at the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) at Rutgers University. She earned her B.S. in Psychology and Bachelor of Health Science (B.H.S.) from the University of Florida and completed her post-baccalaureate clinical training as a fellow at McLean Hospital’s 3East DBT Partial Hospital Program. Her clinical interests include dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), suicidality, emotion dysregulation, and culturally responsive interventions with Hispanic and Latino communities. She is dedicated to increasing access to bilingual (English/Spanish) clinical services and enhancing treatment engagement.
