Alexandra Park

Park is pursuing her doctoral degree in counseling psychology at Fordham University. Her clinical and research interests center on AANHPI well-being and include cultural and structural determinants of health, help-seeking, and coping among AANHPI communities. Currently, she is conducting research on Asian American college students’ somatic and affective expressions of distress, and how they shape disclosure and the support-seeking process. In the future, Park hopes to bridge the gap between science and practice by providing community-based, culturally congruent services to AANHPI which address behavioral health disparities and foster cultural resilience.
