Ashley Stewart-Jones is pursuing her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at the State University of Brockport. She completed her undergraduate degree in Music Therapy at Temple University. Later that year, she received her MT-BC certification and has gained experience working with adolescents, older adults with aphasia, postpartum mothers, children, adults, and older adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Ashley works from a strengths-based, client-centered approach and views the client as an active collaborator in the therapeutic process. She is focused on utilizing trauma-informed care, creative arts interventions and anti-oppressive practices to increase equity and accessibility for BIPOC individuals.
