Asia Jackson

Asia Jackson is a passionate and dedicated clinician, educator, and advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in healthcare. As a Clinical Supervisor at Ashley Addiction Treatment Center, she plays a pivotal role in overseeing the development and training of the next generation of addiction counselors. Her leadership ensures that clinicians are not only equipped with the latest therapeutic techniques but are also grounded in culturally competent care that recognizes and addresses the unique challenges faced by minority populations.

In addition to her work at Ashley, Jackson serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Baltimore, where she teaches graduate-level courses in clinical counseling. Here, she brings a wealth of practical experience, helping to shape and guide the professional development of future healthcare practitioners. With a focus on underrepresented students, Jackson is committed to creating an inclusive learning environment and encouraging more minority students to pursue careers in healthcare, counseling, and mental health.

Jackson's professional expertise extends to her part-time private practice, where she provides individual therapy and counseling services, specializing in addiction recovery, trauma, and mental health issues. Drawing on her deep knowledge and personal commitment to DEI, she tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each patient, with a focus on the marginalized communities she serves.
