Brittany Perez

Perez is a Bronx native with a career goal of working with diverse youth. She attended Aquinas High School, a college preparatory school. She is currently pursuing her master’s in mental health counseling at Fordham University. She is also no stranger to the Fordham community as she graduated from FCRH with a dual degree in psychology and sociology. Her research and career interests include minority youth, psychodynamic theory, and generational trauma. As a research assistant at the Youth Development in Diverse Contexts, she studied how stress and sleep can impact the academic performance of diverse high school and college students. Currently, Perez is an employer relations specialist at Fordham University’s Career Center and works with employers in psychology, education, non-profit, and government. She is also part of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, where she coordinates events that promote employers’ DEI initiatives to students. She is also a behavioral wellness coach at Graham Windham, where she creates treatment plans and provides rehabilitative services to foster youth and low-income families within New York City.
