Cecelia Waters, MA, LPC, NCC, CPCS

Waters is the clinical director of The Point Family Resource Center. Waters has a passion for youth development and created and directed the organization’s Youth Enrichment Program (YEP). YEP provides training in business professional soft skills, life skills, mental health, and summer employment for teens ages 14−18. Waters has more than 14 years of experience counseling families, couples, and individuals from young children to seniors for mental health and substance misuse issues. Waters is currently a community/in home therapist for children, teens, and families in the Metropolitan Atlanta area conducting in-person and telehealth therapy in private and group homes. Waters worked for more than 12 years as a therapist at Ridgeview Institute on the older adult inpatient stabilization unit for mental health and substance misuse issues, including supervising interns. Waters is a board member of Eagle Wings Outreach Ministries International Kennesaw, Georgia and Healing Hearts and Homes in Temecula, California. Waters is looking forward to expanding the professional soft skills, life skills, and mental wellness skills training working with Georgia Department of Vocational Rehabilitation.
