Golden is currently a third-year student in the counseling psychology doctoral program at Virginia Commonwealth University. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and African-American diaspora studies from Xavier University of Louisiana and a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Denver. Her research and clinical foci embrace Black feminism, liberation, and radical healing. Golden is dedicated to amplifying "Black aliveness" as coined by Dr. Kevin Quashie, spotlighting the capacity for Black joy and a thriving life.
