Dale Hardy, PhD, completed her PhD in Epidemiology, in May 2008 at the University of Texas School of Public Health, with a concentration in chronic disease epidemiology, and minors in biostatistics and health promotion. She then completed two post-doctoral fellowships: 1) Gene-diet interactions on body weight and body mass index at Baylor College of Medicine, under the support of a Ruth L. Kirschstein T32 National Research Service Award in 2013, and 2) Health disparities in cancer treatment at the University of Texas School of Public Health in 2010. In previous positions, Hardy worked as a Registered and Licensed Dietitian (RD, LD), a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), and a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). She is a scholar in Cardiovascular Genetics at Washington University in St. Louis, MO, one of the NHLBI Programs to Increase Diversity among Individuals in Health-Related Research (PRIDE).
