Wong is a doctoral candidate of clinical psychology at the PGSP Stanford PsyD Consortium. She completed her BS in applied psychology with a minor in global public health from New York University. She is passionate about providing culturally adapted mental health care for individuals holding intersectional, ethnic minority identities and is especially interested in working with her AAPI community. Wong has experience providing community-level crisis care across jails, police stations, community centers, shelters, and both outpatient and inpatient hospital settings. Her clinical interests include working with survivors of violent crimes, navigating systems of care in addressing complex trauma, as well as issues of prevention and intervention for those struggling with suicide. She hopes to continue destigmatizing mental health care and improving accessibility to services in the future.
