Raymond Popplewell

Popplewell earned his BS in Psychology at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine. He then earned his MS in Mental Health and Clinical Psychology at London South Bank University before beginning his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at Tennessee State University. Broadly, his research interests include intersectionality and identity formation, BIPOC men’s mental health, PTSD within the Black community and mental health disparities within minority communities. Clinically, Popplewell is passionate about blending Relational-Cultural and Behavioral therapeutic approaches to provide culturally sound and evidenced-based interventions to neurodiverse children, adolescents and their families.
