Sepideh Sam Soheilian, PhD, is a licensed psychologist and assistant professor in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Baltimore. She teaches primarily in the MS in applied psychology, counseling psychology concentration. She earned her PhD in counseling psychology from Lehigh University. She also holds an MEd in counseling and human services from Lehigh, and a BA in psychology from Georgetown University with a minor in French.
Soheilian completed her predoctoral internship at the University of South Carolina Counseling and Human Development Center. She completed her postdoctoral residency at Lehigh University Counseling and Psychological Services. Soheilian’s research focuses on training counselors through culturally-focused clinical supervision and training. She has coauthored multiple articles, chapters, and professional presentations on supervision competency. More recently, her scholarship has focused on telesupervision experiences both pre- and postpandemic. In addition to clinical supervision and training, Soheilian is dedicated to research focused on Middle Eastern American and Arab American mental health.
