Sheena Greenstone

Greenstone is Zuni Edgewater born for the Bitterwater Clan. Her maternal grandfather is of the Red Running into the Water clan and her paternal grandfather is of the Salt clan. She is a member of the Navajo Nation. She is a fourth-year doctoral student in the Educational Psychology Department in the Combined School and Counseling Psychology program within the College of Education at Northern Arizona University (NAU). Her current interests are working with Native Americans, treating substance use, and the power of education to build cultural knowledge. She is currently in the Culturally Centered Addictions Research Training (C-CART) certificate program with the Center for Health Equity Research at NAU. She is mentored by Dr. Chesleigh Keene, Navajo, assistant professor.
