Tianna Etes

Tianna Etes is a second-year doctoral student at Oklahoma State University studying counseling psychology. She earned a master's degree in clinical counseling psychology from Brenau University and a bachelor's degree in health sciences from Howard University. Her professional aspiration is to work as a pediatric neuropsychologist, specifically in the areas of neurocognitive and neurodevelopmental disorders. The accessibility of mental health services in rural areas, disparities in health care among people with autism, youth risk behaviors, and the intersectionality of psychology and religion are among Etes' current research interests. Outside of academia, she enjoys Christmas movies, traveling, poetry, and cooking.
