Susan George, PsyD, MSW

Susan George, PsyD, MSW is an assistant professor in the School of Professional Psychology, and she is the director of Psychological Assessment Services (PAS). George completed her doctorate in clinical psychology in 2018 from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She completed an APA-approved internship at Casa Pacifica in Camarillo, California, where she worked with children and adolescents with acute presentations. Afterwards, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia with a focus on child trauma, human trafficking, advocacy, TF-CBT, and psychological assessment. Her research interests include trauma & resiliency, emotion dysregulation and the impact on physical and mental health, human trafficking, children and adolescents, families, parenting, and diversity.
